	ether\n\nWhat would it look like if Southeast D.C. residents had a direct 
	say in the decisions and resources that shape our communities? Join Pan-Af
	rican Community Action (PACA) for Building a People’s Democracy—a People's
	 Assembly where Southeast residents will engage in participatory democracy
	. This is a space for community decision-making\, not just community input
	. Participants will review three proposed community projects and their bud
	gets\, discuss possible changes\, and vote on which project will receive c
	ommunity funding and support.\n\nTogether\, we’ll discuss community priori
	ties\, learn about PACA’s Community Control DC platform\, and demonstrate 
	what it can look like when working-class Black communities have a direct r
	ole in the decisions that affect us.\n\nVote on a community project\nParti
	cipate in democratic budgeting\nDiscuss community needs and priorities\nLe
	arn about Community Control DC\nA people’s democracy means more than havin
	g a voice. It means having the power to decide.\n\nFree and open to the co
	mmunity. Lunch will be provided.
