DESCRIPTION:Last year\, the DC Office of the Attorney General filed a lawsu
	it to stop Trump's illegal deployment of National Guard troops in DC. The 
	federal courts ruled in our favor\, but the Trump Administration appealed 
	and that appeal will be heard on October 14. Join us in front of the Feder
	al Courthouse at 8:30AM for a rally ahead of the case. The hearing begins 
	at 9:30AM and we hope you can pack the court with us! The National Guard a
	re not in DC for our safety. They are a danger to people here and we want 
	them out. Analysis shows their presence is doing nothing to reduce violent
	 crime. Instead\, Guard members are increasingly detaining people in DC wi
	thout cause\, sometimes violently. And all of it is costing us more than $
	3 million a day\, an amount that will eventually amount to billions of dol
